About
Rubberly was brought to life in 2021, fuelled by our mutual love for latex fashion and a yearning to create content that is queer-friendly, highlighting male models, right in the heart of Sydney. Born from an idea conceived during a video shoot titled "Sightseeing In Latex" in 2020, our venture took flight, aiming to introduce a new wave of creative expressions within the latex community.
OUR STORY
Our journey into the world of latex fashion began long before Rubberly's inception. Yet, we were left yearning for more diverse representation in the art and fashion around latex. Most content was predominantly female-centric and lacked a significant queer presence. Not ones to sit on the sidelines, we rolled up our sleeves and decided to be the change we wished to see. Despite being a volunteer-run and non-profit channel, our passion allows us to focus on the people, not just the market.
OUR VISION
Our aspiration is to cultivate an inclusive community for all latex fashion enthusiasts. Our mission is to create stunning, elegant art that reflects our love for latex, moving beyond Australia's shores and establishing Rubberly as a global latex lifestyle channel.
MEET THE TEAM
At the heart of Rubberly are its creators - Alek and Brad, a couple bonded over their shared interest in latex. We both play dynamic roles, juggling camera work, editing, and production. We do not hail from traditional filmmaking backgrounds; instead, we believe in learning on the go and using accessible technology to tell our stories.
CONNECT WITH US
At Rubberly, we value our community. Whether you're a viewer, a curious onlooker, or a potential collaborator, we welcome you. Given our penchant for travel and the trusty camera always at our side, we could be in your neighbourhood sooner than you think. So, reach out – no place is too far for Rubberly.
